Working with Volunteers App

Not-for-profit Law has developed a Working with Volunteers app to complement the National Volunteer Guide and the National Volunteer Webinars.

This app is designed for use by any incorporated not-for-profit organisation that engages volunteers, or plans to engage volunteers. It provides an overview of the key legal obligations that not-for-profit organisations have towards volunteers. It is a useful tool for committee members (or directors), volunteer managers as well as those who work with not-for-profit organisations that engage volunteers (such as peak bodies).

This app will take you through about 23 questions and will take you about 20 minutes to complete.

As you progress through the questions, you will be provided with an overview of the legal issues, recommendations and links for further information based on your responses to our questions.

At the end of this app you will be provided with an opportunity to print a report containing our recommendations.
