The Wettenhall Environment Trust provides grants usually of under $10,000 to support people undertaking projects that will make a positive difference to the natural living environment, in land, sea or air, rural or urban.

The grants are to support grassroots organisations, individuals and academics who are working with on-ground community groups for projects about flora and fauna conservation around Australia.

You can apply for funding in any one of the grant rounds. There are opening dates, but no closing dates.

Here are dates when the rounds open and the application form appears online:

  • 1st July 2022 (funding released August 2022)
  • 1st October 2022 (funding released November 2022)
  • 1st December 2022 (funding released February 2023)

Applications: Expression of Interest (EOI) application form for the 1 July 2022 grant round is now on the website. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
