The Centre makes reasonable efforts to make sure that the information on this website is up-to-date and accurate.  However, The Centre cannot guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness or suitability of the information contained in this website.  The information contained in this website is not material which is particularised to your situation or query and accordingly, you should rely on your own inquiries in relation to any particular matter.  Please note that you use this website and any linked sites, strictly at your own risk.

The Centre reserves the right to change the content of its websites at any time without notice.  You acknowledge and accept such changed conditions when you access this website.  As you are bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should periodically refer to them to monitor any changes which may have taken place and which may directly affect you.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia and any issues arising from them will be dealt with under the provisions of such laws.

Termination

The Centre may terminate your access to its website on the grounds that:

  • you are posting on this website when you do not have the right to do so,
  • you are posting materials on this site which are either false/misleading and/or deceptive,
  • you are using this website for unlawful purposes including fraud,
  • you are posting materials on this website that infringe or impinge upon another entities’ copyright or intellectual property including The Centre’s,

  • you are using this website to harass or offend individuals or entities,

The Centre collects personal information from all those who use its services including its website.  Information is collected from individuals as well as organisations.  The information is collected by The Centre to ensure the precise and efficient matching between volunteers and volunteer opportunities and/or Volunteer Involving Organisations. The data collected also allows The Centre to tailor information resources which are subject appropriate and address the needs of its members.  Aggregated information (information which is non-identifying), is used by The Centre to focus its resources and expertise to deliver targeted services and programmes to individuals and organisations.   Furthermore, The Centre uses aggregated data to improve and streamline The Centre’s website and navigation.

 While The Centre uses its best endeavours to protect the privacy of its website users, it cannot guarantee the security of any personal information which is divulged voluntarily by its website users.
