A special celebration of volunteering was held at NSW Government House during 2018 National Volunteer Week. About 40 of the past NSW Volunteer of the Year Award winners attended the event hosted by His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d) Governor of New South and Mrs Linda Hurley.
The group was dubbed our very own Volunteer Hall of Fame, having collectively donated thousands of hours to enhance the well-being of others and help raise millions of dollars for their communities.
The NSW Governor is also Patron of The Centre for Volunteering.
