NSW July 2022 Floods Disaster Recovery Payment

From Thursday, 7 July 2022, the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment is available to support people that have been seriously affected as a direct result of the July 2022 New South Wales floods.
The Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment is a lump sum payment of $1000 for eligible adults and $400 for each eligible child under the age of 16.
The Disaster Recovery Allowance can be claimed for lost income as a direct result of the Flood. If eligible, you can get it for up to 13 weeks, starting from the date you first lost income.
To be eligible, you need to meet the Local Government Area criteria and other rules.
