National Youth Volunteer Week recognises the valuable role young people play in strengthening communities through volunteering.
The week aims to inspire more young people to get involved, acknowledges the commitment of those already volunteering, and encourages organisations to provide inclusive, rewarding opportunities where young volunteers can build skills, confidence and connections.
Who is National Youth Volunteer Week for?
National Youth Volunteer Week celebrates all young volunteers.
It recognises that volunteering experiences vary depending on a person’s stage of life and promotes opportunities that are age-appropriate, safe, inclusive and meaningful, enabling young volunteers to make a positive contribution.
