Overview
The Centre for Volunteering is currently receiving expressions of interest for a new initiative, Volunteer Leader Network Meetings. These sessions are framed around sharing ideas and different approaches to address current issues across the volunteering sector.
Two different networks are available for you to join, including one for New Volunteer Leaders and another aimed at Remote and Regional Volunteer Leaders.
Who it’s for
We would love to hear from you if you identify or work with one of the following groups:
- New volunteer leaders (new to the role of managing volunteers)
- Remote and regional volunteer leaders
How it works
Launching in March, our online network meetings will run every six weeks for one hour. They are designed to build the capacity and professionalism of volunteer leaders, acting as a sounding board for open discussion and exchange. Meetings will be based around topical issues and shared concerns, encouraging relationship building and knowledge sharing.
