Grassroots organisations who contribute to humanitarian, environmental and animal welfare efforts are encouraged to apply to Australian Ethical Foundation 2020 Community Grants. Only organisations with annual revenue less than $1.5 million will be eligible to apply.

Australian Ethical grants are for $10,000 and $20,000 (or amounts for projects within this range, for example $15,000).

Focus areas:

  • Planet: Protecting the environment – Projects that aim to protect and enhance the natural environment.
  • People: Improving lives – Projects that focus on people who are experiencing extreme levels of distress, disadvantage, vulnerability, or poverty within their community or family. Initiatives led by people experiencing vulnerability themselves are especially welcome.
  • Animals: Protecting and supporting animals – Projects that aim to improve animal welfare, rescue injured animals and protect threatened and endangered species and their habitat.
