Justice Connect have release two new free interactive volunteer resources online resources to help you make sure you’re complying with your obligations when recruiting and working with your volunteers.
Recruiting Volunteers E-Learning Module
The new e-learning module includes interactive activities, instructional videos and realistic scenarios to ensure organisations get the answers to all their questions about recruiting volunteers. Do you know when volunteers will need a Working with Children Check? Need help drafting a volunteer position description? Set aside 30 minutes to test your knowledge on your key obligations when recruiting volunteers.
National Volunteer App
This web app offers a customised online learning experience to help not-for-profit boards and volunteer managers understand the key legal obligations towards their volunteers. Key topics include recruitment, safety, unlawful workplace behaviour, managing performance and ending the volunteer relationship.
