Willoughby Street FairWilloughby’s annual street fair on 1 September needs volunteers for a variety of roles including stage managers and assistant managers, parade marshals, information stall, site runners and public surveys. Shift times vary according to the role. An information briefing evening will be held before the day. Dementia Collection DayDementia Australia is looking for volunteers to assist them with their annual Collection Day. Volunteers are needed to help collect donations at railway stations and transport hubs around Sydney on our behalf. Dementia Australia will provide all necessary material and each team will have a nominated team leader to sign them in. Locations include: Town Hall, Circular Quay, Central, Bondi Junction, Martin Place, Wynyard, Parramatta, Macquarie Uni, Milsons Point, North Sydney, Chatswood and Strathfield Stations, along with Manly Wharf. Manly Jazz Festival Operations volunteers are required to work with the Events Team, to assist with event operations from bump-in to bump-out. The role requires fit and flexible people for physical tasks including setting up signage and equipment, lifting, climbing ladders, and assisting the event team. Ideal for students or those wanting to gain experience in the event industry.
Minimum age 15 years. Shifts of 3-6 hours per day are available.

You must be interested in talking to event-goers and asking them for feedback about their event experiences. Come and join a team of dedicated volunteers. Minimum age is 15 years. Graffiti Removal DayThis is an opportunity to help clean up your local community by removing and preventing graffiti, with free material and equipment provided. If you are free a couple of days before or after 21 October, your assistance would also be welcome.
