National Police Check
The Centre for Volunteering has partnered with the NSW Police Force to offer volunteers and organisations a National Police Check at the reduced rate of $15. Once obtained, this check remains in the applicant’s personal portfolio and can be used towards future volunteering applications and endeavours.

The NSW Volunteer Charter is a code of conduct that organisations can follow to ensure best practice and growth in the volunteering sector.
The NSW Youth Volunteering Guidelines were developed following recommendations made by the NSW Volunteering Taskforce and consultations with the sector and young people.
The Youth Volunteering Guidelines are an initiative under the NSW Volunteering Strategy 2020-2030, which aims to support volunteer involving organisations to engage with young people and encourage them into volunteering roles.
The NSW Disability Inclusion Volunteering Guidelines are part of the NSW Volunteering Strategy 2020–2030. They aim to help organisations review and improve their practices to be more inclusive of people with disability, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute through volunteering.
