Families and Communities Program – Financial Wellbeing and Capability grants

The Australian Government is inviting organisations to apply in an open selection process to deliver services under the Families and Communities Program – Financial Wellbeing and Capability. This will include activities across Australia from 1 January 2019 to 30 June 2023.

The Families and Communities Program aims to:

  • strengthen relationships
  • improve the wellbeing of children and young people
  • reduce the cost of family breakdown
  • strengthen family and community functioning, and
  • facilitate the settlement of migrants and humanitarian entrants in the community.

 

Commonwealth Financial Counselling and Financial Capability

The Australian Government is inviting organisations through an open – competitive process to apply for the Commonwealth Financial Counselling and Financial Capability grant.

  • Commonwealth Financial Counselling helps eligible people address their financial problems through the provision of information, advocacy and/or negotiation on behalf of the client.
  • Financial Capability services help eligible people to build longer-term capability to budget, manage their money better, and make informed financial decisions.

 

Commonwealth Financial Counselling Helpline

The Australian Government is inviting organisations through an open – competitive process to apply for the Commonwealth Financial Counselling Helpline grant.

The objective of the Commonwealth Financial Counselling Helpline is to help eligible people:

  • address their financial problems
  • make informed choices, and
  • build longer-term capability to budget and manage their money.

These will be addressed through the provision of information, advocacy and/or negotiation on behalf of the client.

 

Financial Crisis and Material Aid – Emergency Relief

The Australian Government is inviting organisations through an open – competitive process to apply for the Financial Crisis and Material Aid – Emergency Relief  grant.

The objective of Financial Crisis and Material Aid – Emergency Relief is to help eligible people by providing immediate financial or material aid. This may constitute food parcels, clothes or vouchers for example, supermarket, utilities or petrol.

 

Financial Crisis and Material Aid – Food Relief

The Australian Government is inviting organisations through an open – competitive process to apply for the  Financial Crisis and Material Aid – Food Relief grant.

The objective of Financial Crisis and Material Aid – Food Relief is to support Commonwealth-funded Emergency Relief organisations to provide food to eligible people, on a national scale.
