This resource is included in the Australian Charities Report 12Th edition (2026) and allows the public to conduct searches using Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) 2024 Annual Information Statement data. It can be used to filter data by:

  • The six charity sizes used in this report
  • The state or territory in which a charity’s physical address is located
  • Urban/regional
  • Postcode
  • Charity subtype

The Charity Data Explorer can also be used to find averages of financial information, filter by overseas programs/activities and to see how charity subtypes have changed over time.
