Her business, Englighten U Solutions provides professional business coaching and marketing for small businesses. Supporting you to attract the people you love to work with. Professional empowerment coaching to build the confidence you need to prosper in life. Probably the most important conversation we can have is the one we have with ourselves. Too often people remain stuck in lives they regret. Afraid to try new things or do what they really want fearing what others will say. Learn how to radiate confidence and communicate in a way that gets you more of what you want more of the time. Develop relationships at work and home that sustain and nurture both yourself and the other party.
Having been a Head of IT where she led a large department of both permanent and contract staff. She is very comfortable with technology and is told she has a way of explaining complex material in a way that is easy to understand.
Carrie chose to leave the corporate world when she started her family, wanting to be at home for her children and help out with school outings etc. At the same time, she knew she needed more, something she could call her own. So, she started her own business in 2000. Initially, this was in home shopping but quickly evolved to coaching where, after qualifying she managed to attract a handful of clients. Carrie kind of ‘played’ at her business, not really sure how to market her services, loathing the idea of ‘selling’ and full of self-doubt.
This was until her husband died when she realised, she either had to get serious about her business OR return to the corporate world with its glass ceilings and exhausting hours.
Carrie set about studying how to market her coaching, worked with some of the top marketing gurus of the time and went back to school – the school of hard knocks, trial and error. Through this effort with a sprinkle of sheer determination thrown in, she was able to develop a consistent way to attract new clients and overcome her limiting beliefs about herself. It was at this time that she extended her professional skills further by qualifying as a professional counsellor. It is this work that forms the basis of her signature systems:
– ‘From Strangers to Clients’ the client-attraction system that shows professionals, in business for themselves, how to attract a never-ending stream of clients to their business, even if they doubt their abilities, hate technology and have limited funds.
– ‘Shine Within’ the empowerment system that shows how to radiate confidence from deep within so you can live life by your design.
2020 saw her achieve a lifelong ambition to become a #1 best-selling author with the release of her book ‘From Strangers to Clients’.
When not serving her clients Carrie can be found Dolphin watching, enjoying a glass of fine wine with a platter of cheese or walking her lively family dog in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW.
