About our Presenter, Penny York
Penny’s corporate background has spanned training, business consultancy, project management, sales, marketing, corporate communications, and public relations. Over the past twelve years her focus has been on consulting in volunteer program management, as well as designing and delivering training programs for volunteer involving organisations (VIOs).
In partnership with The Centre for Volunteering, she has shared her knowledge and skills with such organisations as: The National Association of Community Legal Centres, Marine Rescue NSW, Australian Red Cross, Local Government and libraries, SES, ActionAid, The Cancer Council, and RSL NSW. Penny also helps volunteer managers from a variety of VIOs through the School of Volunteer Management’s professional development and Certificate IV in Volunteer Program Coordination workshops.
Penny holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie University as well as a TAE40110 in Training and Assessment.
