Presentation Skills Coaching Session
September 17 @ 9:15 am - 12:30 pm
Presenting is a critical skill that volunteer management professionals need to hone and refine to better deliver their message, convince, impress and persuade their audiences.
Whether they are presenting internally to peers at work or leadership teams, to third parties like corporates, schools and clubs, or to volunteers, the quality of every presentation reflects their professional value and determines their reputation. Too many charities don’t or can’t invest in presentation skills training, in part due to other budget priorities (such as mandatory training needs). This is a critical skills area to deliver advancement, reputational development and success.
This course will provide practical tips, tools and guidance on everything you need to construct and deliver a presentation, from preparation to delivery techniques. You will be invited to deliver a practice presentation in the session and get feedback and coaching from the facilitator.
Participants will be invited to bring and deliver an existing presentation they have either recently presented or plan to so they can get feedback they can immediately apply and learn from.
Please note minimum numbers are required for this workshop. On the day of the workshop you must arrive for registration at 9:15am for a 9:30am sharp start.
