Hear from the Australian National Maritime Museum’s Volunteers Manager, Thomas Devitt and learn about his responsibilities managing over 550 volunteers in Sydney alone. Gain new insights, go on a tour and share stories about running your volunteer programs.
The Australian National Maritime Museum was opened to the public in November 1991. Its vision is to be a world leader in Maritime heritage, engaging communities and increasing their appreciation of the importance of the oceans, seas and the rivers to out past, present and future. The mission of the Museum is to lead the promotion and conservation of Australia’s maritime heritage and culture.

Thomas Devitt has been running the Volunteer program since 2009 and previously had a long career in Information Technology.
