Leading for Purpose
Leading for Purpose is a structured program over 5 months for current and aspiring leaders in this critically important sector of our economy.
It includes three intensive full day workshops that are followed by individual coaching sessions for each participant allowing them to apply their learning, leverage their strengths and embed new behaviours, all leading to increased effectiveness and improved results.

WORKSHOP 3 – LEADING IN ORGANISATIONS
An Individual Strengths assessment will be completed by each participant prior to commencement, and 3-Way meetings with each participant, their manager or mentor, and their program coach are held at the beginning and end of the program. Coaching sessions can be live and virtual, making the program accessible to participants in regional and remote locations. Workshops will be held in Sydney at The Centre for Volunteering.

Facilitator and Coach – Denise North
Denise North is a business leader with three decades of experience understanding organisations from the top down and the ground up. Across multiple sectors and industries, she has held board appointments, led companies as chief executive, and been a strategic consultant, executive coach, analyst and facilitator.
Denise has extensive experience in the NFP sector, having held General Manager, CEO and Company Secretary roles in community and membership organisations. She has held board, committee and chair roles in the sector over thirty years.
Denise has been a member of the AICD’s facilitator faculty for the last 8 years and is an accredited executive coach with Executive Central.
Denise has a Bachelor of Economics with Honours in Government from Sydney University and an MBA from the AGSM, followed by qualifications in governance from the AICD and INSEAD. She is a Fellow of the AICD and a member of their Faculty, and a member of Women on Boards and The Ethics Centre. Denise is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Sydney.
