Free Volunteer Management Training

The Centre for Volunteering has a number of free Professional Development sessions coming up. These sessions are intended to support you and your volunteer organisation, as well as help you develop and grow your programs. The upcoming sessions include the following:

  • Fostering an Inclusive and Diverse Workplace. 28 April, 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
  • Rethinking Volunteer Recruitment. 26 May, 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
  • Addressing Volunteer Motivations through Virtual Volunteering. 23 June, 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
  • National Police Checks. 21 July, 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
  • Embracing Youth Volunteering. 25 August, 12:30 – 1:30 pm.

Free Volunteer Management Resources

We also offer a number of free resources to assist in both your day to day activities and your organisational planning, including:

  • Volunteer Management Handbook, which contains best practice resources, materials, and customisable templates, aligned to the National Standards for Volunteer involvement.
  • COVID-19 Portal, which contains resources, webinar recordings and links that have been curated and collated to help navigate the ever-changing COVID-19 requirements.

Volunteer Referral Service (VRS)

The Centre for Volunteering offers members the option to list volunteer roles with our Volunteer Referral Service (VRS) for free*, to assist in finding suitable, high-quality volunteers.
