NAIDOC Week is a time for Australians to come together to honour and celebrate the cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
People across the country are encouraged to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and recognise the significance of the world’s oldest continuing living cultures.
Through community events, activities, and celebrations, NAIDOC Week creates opportunities to connect, learn, and show support for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
This Year’s Theme

Fifty Years of Deadly marks a milestone. It’s a tribute to the people who built this movement. the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year (NAIDOC.org.au).
