The theme for International Women’s Day on 8 March is 2025 is ‘Accelerate Action’. It focuses on working together to accelerate action on gender equity, emphasising the importance of the need to take swift and decisive steps in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.   • include references or letters of support with their applications
  • use the Funding Centre to find and manage grants via their dashboard.

Cancer Screening Awareness Project

The Settlement Council of Australia has released translated resources to raise awareness about cancer screening, aimed at improving health outcomes for migrant and refugee communities. These resources, available in multiple languages, provide vital information on the importance of regular cancer screening for early detection and prevention. NSW Multicultural Centre for Women’s and Family Safety

NSW Multicultural Centre for Women’s and Family Safety (Adira Centre) is implementing Supporting U, a program which builds the capacity of female social responders within multicultural communities to address domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV). The Centre is calling for expressions of interest from women in multicultural communities to participate.
