Nominations are now closed. Judging is underway.
All nominations must be made by someone other than the volunteer nominee – this can be as an individual or as a representative of an organisation.
To be eligible for nomination for an award:
Describe the nominee's volunteering work and the reasons you feel this person deserves to be recognised for the Award.
In preparing this statement, nominators should make reference to the following: an explanation of what is outstanding about the nominee and the work; a description of the benefit to the community; evidence of initiative and innovation; any obstacles overcome by the volunteer.
(Supporting evidence can be posted to "2008 NSW Volunteer of the Year Award c/o The Centre for Volunteering, 2/228 Pitt St, Sydney 2000", in addition to your online nomination. Please make sure to include the nominator and nominee's names and phone numbers with the supporting documentation).
All applications should include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can be contacted if necessary.
