Changing of the guard at The Centre for Volunteering
The Centre for Volunteering

This month, The Centre for Volunteering will sadly farewell our CEO Stephen Duns who is returning to his native Melbourne. Stephen has been responsible for the building of a solid, senior management team and the development of the Centre's Strategic Planning Think Tank, among other things.

We are also farewelling Kathryn Franco from her full time role as Director of Corporate Development & Support. Kathy has been with us for over three years and has been responsible for the implementation of fundraising strategy, marketing, communications and IT. She is leaving to spend more time in the new family business but will continue to provide support to The Centre from time to time

We are happy to welcome Lynne Dalton as our new CEO. Lynne has over 25 years experience in the community sector. While working in the sector, she has sat on a number of state government advisory boards including the Department of Planning and the National Parks & Wildlife Service and has consulted to other state government agencies on community projects. In addition, Lynne has sat on The Centre for Volunteering's board since 1998.

The Voice of Volunteering interviewed Lynne to find out what makes her tick, what she has in mind for The Centre for Volunteering and how she has feels volunteering has changed over the last decade. MORE
