Discuss the issue of gathering, recording, sharing and managing knowledge in the not-for-profit sector, the current business trends in knowledge management and how the sector can access that knowledge and expertise. Student Community Involvement Program evaluation project
The Centre is presently engaged in an evaluation of its SCIP. Surveys and interview guides are being developed and data collection will begin in September 2009. Students, teachers and organisation representatives will be invited to share their comments, views and stories relating to student volunteering. MORE |

The School has launched a new website which includes
trainer and student only areas, accessible only by personal passwords. As well as a new look, the website has a new address: www.svm.edu.au
Update on major DET RPL project
This important project for the volunteering sector has now reached the candidate selection stage (Stage 4). Two groups of candidates for the Certificate I in Active Volunteering have been assessed with a 100 percent success rate. Read more about the project, progress and lessons learnt. MORE
