Your organisation could be profiled in Take 5 magazine

Take 5 magazine is a real life women's magazine sold every week nation wide. It has approximately 280,000 readers a week and many of the stories are picked up by their sister network, Channel 9, and its programs A Current Affair, 60 minutes, Mornings With Kerri-Anne, and many radio stations.

At Take 5 they pride themselves on being a magazine about the people, for the people, and every story printed aims to fulfill a human need. Sometimes that need is to make readers laugh or think, to reassure them that they aren't the only ones to have gone through a difficult time. Sometimes the stories raise awareness about serious issues in order to inspire or help.

Take 5 is keen to highlight the good work which various charities and organisations do across the country on a volunteer basis. A Take 5 reporter would go along and personally volunteer with a group, and then write up the experiences in the magazine. Ideally the types of volunteering would include work such as helping out at a soup kitchen, or reading to the elderly, or doing the shopping for someone with a disability. Take 5 would need to take pictures of the reporter helping out and of the people being assisted. The aim of the articles is to raise some awareness, and perhaps donations, for organisations which really make a difference to people in need.
