5th NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference

Calvary Hospital is organising the 5th NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference at Harold Park Glebe on Thursday, 24 April 2008. The conference is open to volunteers and interested persons.
The theme for the conference will focus on Dignity and Hope. The conference will explore the unknown territory faced by those whose journey now leads to life's crossroads.
It will explore the diversity of ways in which people and organisatiosn can offer support, hope and dignity.
The volunteer has a unique, personal opportunity to accompany the person on this journey, as they approach the final phase of their cycle of life.
In harmony with others, each of us brings our own unique song and heartbeat striking a chord in the hearts of those we are privileged to encounter.
Inspirational speakers will present a diverse range of stimulating, thought provoking and poignant topics, which will resonate in the hearts and minds of all who attend.
