2008 NSW Volunteer of the Year Award launch

The inaugural NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards held last year were a great success and The Centre for Volunteering and Award Patron, the Hon Linda Burney, are looking forward to launching this year's Award at Government House. Nominations will open on 12 May. The Awards will be announced and presented on 5 December 2008, International Volunteer Day.

Northern Rivers Corporate Volunteering Launch

The launch will feature speakers and Power Point presentation to explain how Corporates and Not-for-Profit organisations can work together and fulfill each other's ambitions by matching skills and resources with needs in the community.

Employee Volunteer Program Research Report and Toolkit Release

A project funded by The Westpac Foundation has been investigating best practice into how corporate Employee Volunteering Programs (EVPs) successfully connect with small-to-medium not-for-profit organisations. The research report and a toolkit for not-for-profits that want to set up and manage their own EVPs will be released at Westpac by the Hon Linda Burney.

Not-for-profit Networking Event: The Ins and Outs of Corporate Volunteering
