NVW Bridge to Volunteering Seminar Photo Gallery

During National Volunteer Week The Centre for Volunteering hosted a Bridge to Volunteering Seminar at Parliament House for over 150 potential volunteers.
Speakers included:
- Representatives from KPMG to speak on Corporate Volunteering
- Warilla High School to discuss student and youth volunteering
- Best Buddies Australia for youth and people with disabilities
- Art Gallery of NSW for skilled and professional volunteers
The Seminar covered the following topics:
- What is volunteering?
- The benefits of volunteering
- Volunteering opportunities
- Rights and responsibilities of volunteers and organisations
- What to consider when looking for a volunteer role
- How to find a suitable volunteer role
