NVW Bridge to Volunteering Seminar Photo Gallery

During National Volunteer Week The Centre for Volunteering hosted a Bridge to Volunteering Seminar at Parliament House for over 150 potential volunteers.

Speakers included:

Representatives from KPMG to speak on Corporate Volunteering
Warilla High School to discuss student and youth volunteering
Best Buddies Australia for youth and people with disabilities
Art Gallery of NSW for skilled and professional volunteers

The Seminar covered the following topics:

What is volunteering?
The benefits of volunteering
Volunteering opportunities
Rights and responsibilities of volunteers and organisations
What to consider when looking for a volunteer role
How to find a suitable volunteer role
