Corporate Volunteering expands in Sydney

Two of Sydney's leading not for profit organisations have joined forces to offer companies and their staff more opportunity to volunteer in the community. United Way Sydney and the Centre for Volunteering are proud to launch a partnership that will create a range of opportunities for staff to roll their sleeves up and complete much need community projects in the community.

With Corporate Social Responsibility becoming an important part of doing business in Australia the partnership will offer a full range of volunteer training, advice, support and actual projects that will deliver a range of benefits to companies:

Bill Downing, CEO, United Way Sydney says, "We are excited about the partnership with the Centre for Volunteering because it will deliver a broader range of corporate volunteering opportunities for companies and their staff. At one place they will have access to training, advice, support and actual grassroots volunteering projects".

Lynne Dalton, CEO, Centre for Volunteering, says, "Our partnership with United Way Sydney will greatly improve the level of support we can provide to our corporate members. They will have access to a complete range of briefing, training and support and projects at the one place which is a first for Sydney."
