Drought Relief
Could you donate a couple of hours to help collect donations for drought relief in northern NSW? We are seeking volunteers for the following dates to help our sister council Gwydir Shire: Thursday 27 September, Friday 28 September, Thursday 4 October and Friday 5 October. Shifts are 11am to 1pm, 1 to 3pm, 3 to 5 pm and 5 to 7pm, but these times are flexible and the minimum age is 18.

Graffiti Removal DayThis is an opportunity to help clean up your local community by removing and preventing graffiti, with free material and equipment provided. If you are free a couple of days before or after 21 October, your assistance would also be welcome. To volunteer please go to the and complete the online registration form. You can nominate your own clean-up site or join an existing group. Minimum age is 12 years. Throughout NSW21
MS Sydney to Gong Bike RideThis is an opportunity to give back to the local community, as well as show your support for the 23,000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Australia. The MS Sydney to the Gong Ride has a wide variety of fun and interesting volunteer positions for you to choose from. Roles available include: - start/finish site assistants; rest site assistants; course marshals; and equipment crew. No experience is necessary. Schools Spectacular
The Schools Spectacular is an unequalled event showcasing the talent of NSW public school students. It needs volunteers on 21,22, 23 and 24 to assist with event set up, and cast movement during the show, providing assistance to the production management team, welcoming and guiding participants and spectators around the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct and providing the public with general information. Volunteers are needed on 21st and 22nd between 7.30am and 5pm, on 23rd between 7.30am to 11pm and on 24th between 9.30am to 11pm. A roster allocating times and specific responsibilities will be finalised once volunteer numbers are confirmed.
