Corporate Volunteering Knowledge Network

We have created the Corporate Volunteering Knowledge Network to meet the growing need to build knowledge, leadership and best practice in corporate volunteering.

We have invited a limited number of representatives from the private sector to become participants in our Corporate Volunteering Knowledge Network. Twenty seven corporate participants attended our first breakfast on Friday, 25 August 2006.

Network breakfasts are opportunities for professional peers to meet, share knowledge and explore approaches to that are grounded in an understanding of what works and why. They are designed to be exciting learning experiences that will make your employer supported volunteering program a dynamic part of your company's strategy. They focus on learning outcomes and the development of tools that participants can take back to their workplace for in-house learning or application. These experiential learning opportunities will include: case study analyses, research presentations, workshops, best practice examples and speakers who will inspire and challenge participants.

The Network is only part of our corporate program. The Centre for Volunteering also assists companies with the design and implementation of corporate volunteering programs, provides research and resources and an employee volunteer matching service. Find out more about our corporate program.
