Regular Opportunities

Get cooking for the Social Luncheon Club

Number of employee volunteers needed: 8 employee volunteers
Date:
Tuesdays
Time: 10.30am–3.30pm
Location: Ryde

The range and diversity of corporate volunteering activities can be diverse and rewarding for all involved. Employee volunteers will create a feast for this social club which is held on a monthly basis for socially isolated older people in the Ryde area. Employees will be getting busy in the kitchen and whipping up a feast of fresh food for 20 clients that attend this Social Club. Employees will be cooking for the day (kitchen facilities attached to the centre for the corporate group to utilise) and joining in on the festivities.

This is a great way to support an organisation that has limited funds and resources, as the company will purchase the food (approx $80.00) they need for cooking, then cook a healthy meal and join the group for some social interaction.

Easy Care Gardening Volunteers

Centennial Parklands is offering Corporate Volunteer groups the opportunity to participate in an exciting volunteer program that also aims to improve the historic and iconic Centennial Park environment. Volunteers will be provided with fishing equipment including rods, reels and tackle.
