How to Find Us

The Rocks is a real maze of streets, lanes, alleyways and stairways. And there are at least a dozen different paths you could take to get to our office (or get lost). And while our front entrance is at 40 Gloucester Street, we also have a rear entrance at 11 Cambridge Street.

So, for your first visit, you might like to use one of the following easy routes:

• Wander down from Wynyard Station via Harrington Street

• Stroll up from Circular Quay Station via Argyle Street

• Come by bus from the QVB or Wynyard Station

Wander down from Wynyard Station – takes about 12 minutes

Wander along York St then head down through Lang Park and across Grosvenor St into Harrington St (hint: exit Wynyard station via the long escalator to York St, then cross over York St at the lights to get to Lang Park)

Go along Harrington St then turn left at the clocktower into Argyle St and then left again into Cambridge St (opposite the Argyle Stairs).

You now have only to ascend a short incline up Cambridge St. and, just as you pass the Nakashima Restaurant, you'll find our rear entrance at Number 11 on your right.

Open the door and follow the passage then turn right and take the lift up to Level 3. There, on your left, you'll find our friendly receptionist.

 

Stroll up from Circular Quay Station – takes about 8 minutes

Stroll up alongside First Fleet Park and turn right into George St and then left into Argyle St.

Head up Argyle St, passing the Harrington St clocktower and turn left into Cambridge St (opposite the Argyle Stairs).

You now have only to ascend a short incline up Cambridge St and, just as you pass the Nakashima Restaurant, you'll find our rear entrance at Number 11 on your right.

Open the door and follow the passage then turn right and take the lift up to Level 3. There, on your left, you'll find our friendly receptionist.

 

Come by bus from the QVB or Wynyard Station – takes about 6 minutes by bus from Wynyard or 11 minutes from QVB plus a 4 minute walk through the Rocks

Hop on a 431 or 433 bus in George St (you'll need a prepaid ticket) and hop off at the Playfair St bus stop (this is the second bus stop in the Rocks and just around the bend as George St veers left).

Amble along Playfair St to Argyle St, turn right into Argyle St, then as you reach the Argyle Stairs cross over into Cambridge St.

You now have only to ascend a short incline up Cambridge St and, just as you pass the Nakashima Restaurant, you'll find our rear entrance at Number 11 on your right.

Open the door and follow the passage then turn right and take the lift up to Level 3. There, on your left, you'll find our friendly receptionist.
