Course name: Certificate III in Active Volunteering

General description: At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Volunteers may also be required to lead volunteer teams and have limited responsibility for the output of others within a project or event. Organisations may require volunteers to undergo relevant background checks. To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 20 hours of volunteer work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.Get your Volunteer Management Qualifications with The Centre for Volunteering

While the Course is mainly self-paced learning using electronic media resources, you will most likely need about 12 months to fully complete the coursework and assessment activities.

The Course is structured to fit in with your working environment, so many assessment activities will be drawn from on- the- job activities and experiences.

On completion, you will emerge with a nationally recognised registered certificate.

The full Certificate costs $2,500 (inclusive of GST) which can be paid in instalments over the 3 terms (Members of The Centre for Volunteering can receive a 20% discount).
